On Saturday evening, February 18, the very successful Dinner with a Twist was held in the Chattanooga Theatre Centre’s Main Lobby. Over $4,000 was raised for grants and scholarships for worthy performing arts students and organizations that support and train these students to ensure the future of the arts. A scrumptious dinner was catered by Louella Landreth. Photos of the event can be seen here.
Keith Reas talked about his organ student Cody Lawyer, who received a PAL Scholarship to study organ at Westminster Choir College’s summer camp, and what the scholarship meant to him. Local favorite Robin Grant and The Standard provided music for listening and dancing. A short skit with a twist was performed as surprise entertainment. Twists could also be found in breadsticks and centerpiece containers. Many thanks to all who supported the event with their attendance and/or donations, and a special thanks goes to sponsor, Barnett & Company Investment Counsel.
