Promising to be a sellout again this year, A Dramatic Affair, presented by Chattanooga’s Performing Arts League (PAL), will be a fabulous evening of dining and entertainment. With the convenience of free parking, guests will arrive at the Chattanooga Theatre Center at 5:30 on Friday evening, February 22, 2019. Upon entering the Main Lobby, where the Tennessee River serves as the backdrop, they will be greeted with a wine bar followed by the seated dinner at 6:15. From there, guests will make their way into the Circle Theatre for the award-winning play, Fences, by August Wilson. This moving drama has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award and Drama Desk Award. A post-production private dessert reception will provide attendees the special opportunity to meet the cast and directors of the play and conclude this special and unique evening of dinner, wine, theatre and more!
Support of this premier event has a far-reaching impact. As one of PAL’s key fundraisers of the year, the proceeds will help to provide scholarships to local performing arts students and grants to those organizations that support and train these young people. This fosters the future of youth in the performing arts including the disciplines of dance, theater, vocal and instrumental music. If you have a heart for local young people, a desire to support youth involved in performing arts in our community or you would simply enjoy a unique and delightful evening at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre then you’ll not want to miss A Dramatic Affair. Tickets are $65.00 (includes a $40 tax deduction) and seating is limited.
